Hollandse Kust Zuid Offshore Wind Farm, Netherlands - for Green Investment Group/Macquarie and Iberdrola. Due diligence and support in preparaon for submission of their bid to the Dutch authories in the 2019 Auction for HKZ 3&4 offshore wind farms, approximately 760MW. Robert worked as Project Director on this assignment.

Noirmoutier & Le Treport Offshore Wind Farms, France – for GDF Suez (now Engie) / EDPR (JV now called Ocean Winds) – Project Manager leading the project review and support for the client’s submission under Round 2 of the French government Offshore Wind Tender auction programme. The client was successful in securing the 2 projects a tariff in the auction.
Wind Farm Portfolio M&A Due Diligence, UK – for Brookfield Renewable Energy – Project Director leading the portfolio M&A due diligence of 16 operational wind farms and 4 under construction in England. Brookfield were looking to acquire the wind farms.
Wind Farm Lenders Technical Advisor, UK – for Awel Aman Tawe wind farm located in South Wales UK. Undertook due diligence on behalf of the Lenders to the project.

Wind Farm M&A Due Diligence, Ireland – for Enlight, an Israeli company – Project Director leading the M&A due diligence. Enlight were looking to acquire and build Tullynamoyle onshore wind farm in the Republic of Ireland.
Wind Farm Porolio M&A Due Diligence, Scotland, UK – for Brookfield Renewable Energy – Project Director leading the porolio acquision due diligence of 31 wind farms in Scotland. Brookfield were looking to acquire and build wind farms.
3 Wind Farms Scotland, UK Vender M&A - for Statkra. A Vendor Due Diligence for the Owner looking to sell the porolio of construcon and operaonal wind farms based in the UK. Robert led the project as Project Director, preparing the all parts of the Technical and Commercial VDD report.
Gode Wind II Offshore Wind Farm, Germany M&A - for Plambeck Emirates - Adviser to the potenal Eur400 million equity investment. Robert was Project Director for the Due Diligence process.
Co-Ver Energia - M&A Due Diligence, Italy - For the investment company Lexicon Partners Ltd and bank Arcapita Bank BSC, led the due diligence for the acquision of a portfolio of wind power, solar power and hydro power assets across Southern and Eastern Europe. Tasks included assistance in providing advice to Sponsors on behalf of lenders during contract finalisation as precursor to full due diligence including contract review and review of financial model inputs prior to financial close.
EPC Contract Review, Spain – for Platina Finance to review a dra EPC Contract for a PV plant in Spain, specifically covering: liability caps, liquidated damages for performance and delay, rejection clauses, termination clauses, payments terms, performance guarantee, insurance, transfer of ownership.
Wind Farm Acquision Due Diligence, UK M&A – for Sofidel – Project Director leading the acquision due diligence. Sofidel were looking to acquire and build wind farms to cover their energy consumption.
Crucea I and II Onshore Wind Farms, Romania - for European Bank for Reconstrucon & Development acted as the Project Director, leading the due diligence for financing the Crucea wind farm in Romania. The role included assistance in providing advice as precursor to full due diligence including contract review and review of financial model inputs prior to financial close.
Huaneng (Wind Farm Portfolio) IPO, China - For the potential floataton on the Hong Kong stock exchange of the large Chinese wind power developer Huaneng New Energies, Mott MacDonald provided the services of independent engineer. Robert acted as Project Director for the team providing the independent verification of assets.
Shepherds Flat Wind Onshore Farm, Oregon, US - for GE Energy Financial Services - the largest wind farm in the world at the time of construcon (845MW) acted as the Project Director, leading the due diligence for equity investment at the Shepherds Flat wind farm in Oregon, USA. The role was as Project Director and tasks included assistance in providing advice as precursor to full due diligence including contract review and review of financial model inputs prior to financial close.
Long Yuan (Wind Farm Portfolio) IPO, China - For the floatation of the Long Yuan company on the Hong Kong stock exchange, China’s largest wind power developer. Mott MacDonald provided the services of independent engineer. Robert led the wind team providing the independent verification of assets for the IPO prospectus.
10 MW PV Installation, Cuenca, Spain, Confidential Client – Technical Advisor for potential investor of a proposed 10 MW Solar PV plant in Spain. Provided independent yield calculations, reviewed the proposed technology (including the solar panels, inverters, transformers and tracking system), conducted an irradiance study, reviewed the Independent Engineers report (analysed the yield assessment, performance ratios and irradiance assumptions) on the project and advised on the technical inputs of the financial model.
4 Offshore Wind Farms, Germany - For EnBW, a Germany utility company. The 4 offshore wind farms all in German waters - Baltic 1, Baltic 2, Kriegers Flak & Nordsee wind farm. The role was as Project Director for the owners engineering services provided to EnBW for four offshore wind farms in German waters. Tasks included contract negotiation, design specification and many other owners engineering services.
Darlowo Wind Farm, Poland - for the European Investment Bank (EIB) he was Project Director, leading the due diligence for financing the Darlowo wind farm in Poland. Tasks included assistance in providing advice as precursor to full due diligence including contract review and review of financial model inputs prior to financial close.
Orites Wind Farm, Cyprus - for Platina Partners / EIB. Robert led the LTA Services for the due diligence for financing the Orites wind farm in Cyprus. The role was as project manager and tasks included assistance in providing advice for the pre-construcon due diligence including contract review and review of financial model inputs prior to financial close.
Windjoule – for a private investor. A technology review of prototype small wind generator. Robert acted as Project Manager.
Lunar Energy Ltd - undertook Due Diligence and an independent technical review of a dal energy device for the development company. The work has highlighted key areas of both strength and weakness in the concept. Also providing a suitable form of independent words for use in the investor informaon prospectus.
